Edin Marroquin welcomes you to Aroma Restaurant!

This fine restaurant, best known for its exclusive dishes, first opened its doors in February 2005. The restaurant's continental variety in pastas, seafood, and steaks reflects the chef's mastery in the kitchen and the exquisite tastes and combinations he learned of throughout the years. We now share with you the inspirations that led to Aroma Restaurant...

Chef Edin Marroquin initially began working as a chef at the age of 18 in the city of New York. Discovering his interest in the Italian kitchen, Chef Edin was inspired to expand his knowledge in a very prominent restaurant in Los Angeles where he joined the staff at Valentino Restaurant in Santa Monica.

Known as one of the top rated restaurants in Los Angeles, Valentino is owned by Piero Selvaggio who took part in motivating Chef Edin to one day open his own restaurant.

After working at Valentino for 17 years, Chef Edin was ready to share his expertise and traveled to Costa Rica, where he worked as a contractor for two years and assisted with various projects which led to some of today's Italian kitchens in Costa Rica.

Upon his return to the U.S., Chef Edin assisted Piero Selvaggio with the opening of Impresario located in Downtown L.A.'s Music Center. Throughout the years, various other Italian restaurants in the Los Angeles area enjoyed Chef Edin's assistance.
